Karnal Lok Sabha Constituency Result 2019 in Haryana: Sanjay Bhatia of BJP Wins Parliamentary Election

The Karnal Lok Sabha constituency lies in the eastern part of the state of Haryana. Voting will take place on the Karnal seat in the sixth phase of General Elections 2019 on May 12.

Lok Sabha Elections 2019: The counting of votes for the Karnal Lok Sabha Constituency began at 8 am today. The results of the Parliamentary seat in Haryana were declared by Thursday, May 23 evening. Sanjay Bhatia of the BJP won the seat. Voting took place for the Karnal seat in Haryana in the sixth phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2019 on May 12. The candidates of different political parties have filed their nomination on this seat. These include Kuldip Sharma of the Congress, Dharamveer Padha of the INLD and Sanjay Bhatia of the BJP among others. The last date of filing nomination for the Karnal seat was April 23. The last date for withdrawal of candidature was April 26. Ashwini Kumar of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won the Lok Sabha Elections 2014 from the Karnal seat. Kumar defeated 2-time MLA Arvind Kumar Sharma of the Congress and is the sitting MP from Karnal.

The Lok Sabha Elections 2019 will take place across India between April 11 and May 23. While voting will take place for 543 Lok Sabha seats in seven phases between April 11 and May 19, the counting of votes will take place on May 23.
