The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fielded Chudasama Rajeshbhai Naranbhai while the Indian National Congress has given a ticket to Vansh Punjabhai Bhimabhai from Junagadh. Whereas, the Bahujan Samaj Party announced Deven Govindbhai Vanvi from Junagadh.

As of 2014, this constituency comprises seven legislative assembly segments. Polling will be held on April 23 while the counting of votes will take place on May 23. Junagadh constituency is not reserved for any category, which means it comes in the general category.
