Jharkhand Assembly Election Results 2019: Raghubar Das, Hemant Soren, Babulal Marandi And Sudesh Mahato Lead in Initial Trends

The counting for high-stake 81-Assembly seats in Jharkhand has begun and in the first trends, BJP is leading in 34 seats, while the opposition alliance -- led by including JMM and Congress -- is gaining around 32 seats. Apart from this, JVM (P) is leading in 3 seats, while Sudesh Mahato' AJSU is leading in 7 seats.

Ranchi, December 23: With the first counting of ballot votes almost over and the first electronic voting machine about to open, the initial trends that are coming from Jharkhand mentions that incumbent Chief Minister Raghubar Das-led Bharatiya Janata Party is leading in 34 seats, while Hemant Soren-led Jharkhand Mukti Morcha is leading in 32 seats. Apart from this, Sudesh Mahato's All Jharkhand Students' Union is leading in seven seats, while Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) is leading in four seats.

Among the major key players leading in the Jharkhand Assembly Elections 2019 including incumbent CM Raghubar Das who is leading from Jamshedpur East seat, while Sudesh Mahato is leading from Silli Assembly seat. On the contrary, JVM-P chief and former CM Babulal Marnadi is leading from Dhanwar seat. Former CM and JMM chief Hemant Soren is leading form both the seats -- Barhait and Dumka. Those who are trailing in the initial counting of votes include independent candidate Saryu Rai, BJP's Luis Marandi from Dumka, JMM's Baidnath Ram from Latehar, Congress' Gaurav Vallabh from Jamshedpur East, BJP's Sukhdev Bhagat from Lohardaga and BJP's Laxman Gillua from Chakradharpur.

It is to be known that right now, the counting of ballot votes is under process by election commission and till now 79 seats have been counted. Bharatiya Janata Party is leading in 35 seats, while the opposition alliance -- led by including Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and Congress -- is gaining around 31 seats. Apart from this, Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) is leading in three setas, while Sudesh Mahato' AJSU is leading in seven seats.

In the previous Assembly polls, BJP had won 37 seats, which had made an alliance with AJSU and formed the government in the state. JMM had earlier won 19 seats, while its alliance Congress had won 7 seats. JVM(P) has won 8 seats, while BSP had secured one seat. However, four individual candidates have won the seats. The majority mark to form the government in the state Assembly is 41.
