PM Modi said that the BJP fulfills its promises and mentioned the abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. The Jharkhand Assembly elections will be held in five phases between November 30 and December 20, and the results will be declared on December 23.
Ranchi, November 25: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking at an election rally in the poll bound Jharkhand, alleged that the Congress party deliberately did not find a solution to the Ayodhya Ramjanmaboomi-Babri Masjid dispute for the sake of its "votebank". The Prime Minister added that the BJP fulfills its promises and mentioned the abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir as well as bifurcating the state of Jammu and Kashmir into two separate Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Addressing an election rally in Daltonganj, the Prime Minister said that, "the matter of dispute over the birthplace of lord Ram was stalled by Congress. Had they wanted, a solution could've been found much earlier. But they didn't do that, they cared about their vote bank. Such thinking of Congress affected the country." The Prime Minister also praised the Jharkhand state BJP government for ensuring "social justice" in the state. He said that the BJP gave a stable government to Jharkhand and ended corruption. The Prime Minister also spoke on the issue of Naxalism and said that the problem of Naxalism is due to politial instability. He claimed that BJP had solved the problem of Naxalism in the state.

Jharkhand Assembly elections will be held in five phases between November 30 and December 20, and the counting of votes will take place on December 23. Presently, the BJP is in power in the state, which has a large tribal population. An alliance of opposition parties, mainly the Congress and the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, is making a determined bid to oust the BJP government.
Raghubar Das of the BJP is the first state chief minister to have completed the full term of five years in the state. The saffron party has asserted that it has provided a stable, clean and development-oriented government in Jharkhand, with the opposition claiming that the state’s progress has stalled under its rule.
