Amaravati, April 8: Stakes are high for the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) in assembly elections of Jammalamadugu, Kadapa, Kadiri, Kaikalur and Kakinada City seats in Andhra Pradesh. The Jagan Mohan Reddy-led party won Jammalamadugu, Kadapa and Kadiri seats. While the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) bagged Kaikalur, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) got Kakinada City seat.
The process of filing nomination for elections to Jammalamadugu, Kadapa, Kadiri, Kaikalur and Kakinada City assembly seats of Andhra Pradesh Vidhan Sabha began from March 18 and the last day was March 25. Scrutiny was done on March 26 and the last date for the withdrawal of the nominations was March 28.
