Jalgaon City Municipal Corporation Elections 2018 Voter List: How to Check Your Name In Ward-Wise And Booth-Wise List of Voters Online on jcmc.gov.in

Mumbai, July 31: Voting for the Jalgaon City Municipal Corporation is set to take place on Wednesday, August 1. Polling will be held for the Jalgaon Shahar Mahanagar palika chunav from 7.30 am to 5.30 pm tomorrow. Before going to cast their votes, voters are advised to check their names in the ward-wise and booth-wise voters list on the website of the civic body jcmc.gov.in.

In 19 wards of Jalgaon civic body, 75 seats will go to polls, of which 38 seats are reserved for women, 5 for Scheduled Castes, 4 for Scheduled Tribes and 20 for Backward Classes.

Here is how to check your name in the voter list online:

1. Go to the official website of Jalgaon Municipal Corporation www.jcmc.gov.in
2. Click on the link that says 'Jalgaon JCMC Election 2018 Final Boothwise Voters List'
3. Click on your Ward number
4. Click on Your Booth number
5. You can now see the PDF list of the respective ward and booth

The BJP has 15 and the NCP has 11 members in the JCMC. There are 12 corporators from the MNS, 36 members from local outfits and one Independent. The BJP is in power in the JMC with the support of local outfits.

The election comes just months before the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly Elections and will hence, be keenly watched. The JCMC election results 2018 will be declared on Friday, August 3. The counting of votes will begin at 10 am on Friday.
