Lucknow, April 10: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) sitting MLA from Agra North seat, Jagan Prasad Garg, passed away on Wednesday due to an heart-attack. Garg was known as an outspoken minister and did not hesitate from speaking against his own government. Jatin Prasad Garg first won the 1998 Assembly by-elections and went on to represent the Agra North seat four times in a row. Jagan Prasad Garg was a member of the 13th, 14th, 15th and the 16th Legislative assemblies of Uttar Pradesh. The leader was popular amongst people of various age-groups.
