Rajasthan Election Results

The Congress, led by Sachin Pilot and Ashok Gehlot, pushed out the Vasundhara Raje-led BBJP government in Rajasthan as the party was leading on 101 seats at the time of writing this report. Even as the Congress won the state, the BJP, to the poll pundits' surprise, put up a difficult fight in Rajasthan. While Raje won her seat Jhalrapatan, she lost the state. Former Chief Minister KCR's gamble of calling for early elections in Telangana played out well as the TRS headed towards a landslide victory in the southern state. The party was set to win more than 85 seats in the 199-seat Telangana Assembly. KCR is set to return as Telangana Chief Minister. Mizoram Election Results

The Mizo National Front snatched power from the Congress in Mizoram as the party was headed towards winning over 20 seats in the 40-seat Mizoram Assembly. Chief Minister Lal Thanhawala lost on both his seats - Serchhip and Champhai South.
