IT Raids AAP MLA Naresh Balyan’s Office in Delhi, Recovers Over Rs 2 Crore
The Income Tax conducted raids at the premises of Aam Aadmi Party’s MLA from Uttam Nagar – Naresh Balyan and recovered over Rs 2 Crore.
New Delhi, March 8: The Income Tax on Friday conducted raids at the premises of Aam Aadmi Party’s MLA from Uttam Nagar – Naresh Balyan. Based on the tiff, the IT department official raided the office of Balyan, considered as a close aide of AAP convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
As per the initial reports, in the IT raids at Balyan’s Dwarka sector 12 office, around Rs 2-3 crore have been recovered. Since Balyan is considered to be a property dealer, it is expected that the officials would question him the source of money. IT Raids at VV Minerals Group, 100 Locations Being Searched in TN.
This is not the first time, that IT had raided the offices of any AAP leader in the national capital. Earlier too in October 2018, the IT department had raided 16 locations associated to Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot across Delhi-NCR. The department had carried out raids at various locations in Vasant Kunj, Najafgarh, Defence Colony, Daryaganj, Laxmi Nagar and Gurugram.
