Kolhapur, July 25: A team of Income Tax (IT) department on Thursday conducted raids at the residence and factory premises of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Hasan Mushrif in Kolhapur district.
The IT-raid at the NCP leader’s home comes at a time when there were reports that the leader had declined the ‘request’ to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Therefore, the timing of the raid has given rise to speculations that the raids are politically motivated.
