New Delhi, July 17: In a bid to resolve the infiltration issue, Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Rajya Sabha today reiterated his strong views against all illegal immigrants of this country. According to an ANI update, he has been quoted as saying, "We will identify all the illegal immigrants and infiltrators living on every inch of this country and deport them as per the international law." Earlier in April, Shah referred to illegal migrants from Bangladesh as 'termites' and had opened threatened them saying that his party will throw them out after coming to power at the Centre for a second consecutive term.

He further alleged that the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress government in West Bengal was only interested in appeasing minorities. Shah had also accused the Opposition of treating illegal immigrants as a vote bank and doing 'Ilu Ilu' with terrorists, an apparent reference to a popular Bollywood love song from the nineties.
In April, Shah criticised the grand old party for completely ignoring the Assam's development in its last 70 years in power. At a rally which he was addressing in the state, he said that Narendra Modi-led government can evict all illegal immigrants from Assam.
