Brijendra Singh of the BJP won the seat. Voting took place for the Hisar seat in Haryana in the sixth phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2019 on May 12.
Political parties have fielded candidates for the Hisar parliamentary seat. These include Brijendra Singh of the BJP, Bhavya Bishnoi of the Congress and Suresh Koth of the INLD among others. The last date for filing nomination on the Hisar seat was April 23. The last date for withdrawal of candidature was April 26. Polling will be held on May 12 in Hisar. Dushyant Chautala of the INLD had won the Lok Sabha Elections 2014 from the Hisar seat in Haryana. Chautala had defeated HJC's Kuldeep Bishnoi on this seat and is the sitting MP from Hisar.
The Lok Sabha Elections 2019 will take place across India between April 11 and May 23. While voting will take place for 543 Lok Sabha seats in seven phases between April 11 and May 19, the counting of votes will take place on May 23.
