New Delhi, May 9: Former chief minister of Uttarakhand, Harish Rawat, committed a blunder on the occasion of the 153rd birth anniversary of social reformer and freedom fighter Gopal Krishna Gokhale. #GopalKrishnaGokhale pic.twitter.com/cncKme3FSV

As can be seen in the tweet above, the image in the tweet is that of Lokmanya Tilak and not of Gopal Krishna Gokhale. That the error comes from a Congressman is even more glaring.
Twitter soon noticed the error and pointed out to Rawat that the man in picture is not Gopal Krishna Gokhale but Lokmanya Tilak.

You moron @harishrawatcmuk, the pic is of Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak, not of Gopal Krishna Gokhale. The ONLY thing common between the two gentlemen is the Puneri Pagdi! Can’t believe this man was once the CM of Uttaranchal. Such a disgrace! This is @INCIndia culture!! https://t.co/R9VoV6DwXK

Another Twitter User Highlighted the Error
I think the tweet post is correct but the person in photo is Bal Gangadhar Tilak
Photo should be added for Gopal Krishna Gokhale
May be the Twitter handler mixed photo
