Gurugram: Fringe Group Members Brandishing Sword Threaten Meat Shop Owners to Stop Operations During Navratri

Gurugram, April 6: A fringe group calling itself the 'Hindu Sena' were allegedly seen in a video with swords in their hands and forcing meat shop owners in Gurugram to shut down their shops in Navratri, an important festival which lasts for nine-days, celebrated with fervour especially in North India. However, reports of the fringe group members allegedly intimidating meat sellers in Gurugram has gone viral on social media, bringing to light past such instances. DCP West, talking about the incident to news agency ANI, said that “A video went viral in which Hindu Sena workers were seen asking shopkeepers to close their shops. We haven't received any complaint. Video being examined."
