Godda Lok Sabha Constituency Election Results 2019 in Jharkhand: Nishikant Dubey of BJP Wins This Seat

Results of the parliamentary constituency of Godda has been declared. Nishikant Dubey of BJP has wrested the constituency. The seat went to polls in the last phase of Lok Sabha elections 2019, on May 19. Godda was among the four seats of Jharkhand which were contested in the final round. According to details by EC, the Godda Parliamentary constituency  has a total of 1,412,253 voters. Out of these, 664,705 are females and 747,548 are males.

In the run up to Lok Sabha Elections 2019, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fielded Nishikant Dubey from the Godda seat. Dubey is the current MP of this constituency and will again try his luck this year. Voting in all the parliamentary constituencies in Jharkhand will be held in four phases. The constituencies of Rajmahal, Dumka and Godda would go to polls in the seventh phase for which voting will be held on May 19. The voting in the state will be held in the 4th phase, 5th phase, 6th phase and 7th phases of the Lok Sabha elections. Three seats will be contested on April 29; four constituencies on May 6; four Lok Sabha segments on May 12; and three seats on May 19. The results will be declared on May 23.

In the Lok Sabha Elections 2014,Nishikant Dubey of the BJP had won the Godda seat by defeating Furkan Ansari of the Congress party.  Dubey had won the seat by 380,500 votes.
