New Delhi, August 8: Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad ridiculed the video released by news agency ANI showing National Security Advisor Ajit Doval eating lunch with locals in Jammu & Kashmir's Shopian. Describing the footage as an act of propaganda, Azad levelled a "money power" jibe against the Centre.
"Paise dekar aap kisiko bhi saath le sakte ho (With money you can bring anyone along)," Azad said on being confronted by reporters over NSA Doval's interaction with locals in South Kashmir. NSA Ajit Doval Gets Cabinet Rank.

Doval has been deputed in J&K since Sunday, where he is assessing the security situation and reportedly leading the confidence-building measures.
A report earlier sent by him to the Centre said locals in Srinagar have welcomed the move to repeal special status accorded to J&K under Article 370.

Azad, a former chief minister of the frontier state, has disputed the government's claim, asserting in the Rajya Sabha on Monday that the move to abrogate Article 370 has ruined the consistent efforts made in the last 70 years to integrate the state with India.
"With one move, you have destroyed the crown of India. You have trampled upon the will of the people of Jammu & Kashmir. This will worsen the situation and cause an irreparable damage," Azad said.
