It will be interesting to see how the official 2018 Telangana Assembly Polls’ Results will turn out eventually.
It was Thatikonda Rajaiah of TRS who won against Dr Gunde Vijaya Rama Rao of Congress party in the 2014 Assembly Elections. In the 2012 bye-polls, it was Rajaiah who won against the TDP candidate.
In the 2014 Telangana Assembly Elections, TDP’s Dayaker Rao Errabelli won in a close contest against Dugyala Shrinivas Rao of the Indian National Congress. In 2009, too, the results was the same when Dayakar Rao had won against Srinivas Rao.
The seat of Dornakal has been a Congress bastion for decades. In the 2014 Assembly Elections, it was DS Redya Naik from Congress, who won against TRS’ Sathyavathi Rathod. Except for 2009, every other election in Dornakal has gone Congress’ way since 1957.
In 2014 Assembly Elections, Banoth Shankar Nayak of TRS won against Kavitha Malothu of Congress party. The result was vice-versa during the 2009 Elections. This time too, it looks like it will be a two-way battle between TRS and Congress.
It is the 103rd constituency in Telangana. In 2014 Assembly Elections, it was Donthi Madhava Reddy, an Independent candidate, defeated Peddi Sudarshan Reddy of TRS by a hefty margin.
It was Challa Dharma Reddy of TDP which won the Parkal seat after defeating Sahoder Reddy Muddasani of TRS, in the 2014 Assembly Elections. The result of Parkal seat would be intriguing as even Congress, BJP, CPI, and TDP – all have won this seat before.
The seat of Warangal West in Telangana has been a TRS fortress for a long time now. Dasyam Vinay Bhasker of TRS defeated second-placed Swarna Errabelli of Congress party in the 2014 Assembly Elections. In the 2010 By-Polls and the 2009 Elections, it was TRS, which won the Warangal West seat.
