Patna, November 15: Swarna Singh of the Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) has won from the Gaura Bauram Vidhan Sabha Seat or Gora Bauram Vidhan Sabha Seat this year. Singh has won the seat by defeating RJD candidate Afzal Ali Khan. The constituency is situated in the Darbhanga district of Bihar. The current MLA of the Gora Bauram constituency is Madan Sahni, who belongs to JD(U). The voting in the Gaura Bauram constituency was held in the second phase of Bihar Assembly Elections 2020 on November 3. The counting of votes was held on November 10. The main candidates for the Gaura Bauram Assembly Election 2020 included Afzal Ali Khan of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Tamanna Khan of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Ramesh Kumar Pandit of Janata Dal (Secular) among other candidates. The voting for the first phase was held on October 28 which covered 71 assembly constituencies, the second-phase voting on November 3 covered 94 seats.
