The Narendra Modi-led government in the Centre is all set to face its first stingiest test after coming to power in four years. The ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA)-led by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will see a slew of ministers take part in the no-confidence motion debate that will take place in the Lok Sabha on July 20.

Amongst the leaders from the NDA front, it is said that the senior BJP leaders, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Union Minister of Home Affairs Rajnath Singh will lead the charge. It is reportedly being said the PM Modi is likely to speak at the end of the debate.

Other NDA speakers in the list are Union Minister of State – Parliamentary Affairs – Arjun Ram Meghwal, Union Minister of Food Processing Industries Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Union Minister of Consumer Affairs Ram Vilas Paswan, Rakesh Singh, Virendra Singh, and Meenakshi Lekhi, who will be an integral part in the no-confidence trust vote debate on Friday. No-Confidence Motion in Lok Sabha Against NDA Government LIVE News Updates: Amit Shah, Other BJP MPs Display Victory Sign Ahead Of Trust Debate.

As for the Opposition, Congress President Rahul Gandhi is likely to lead the debate. Earlier, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) had moved a no-confidence motion against the ruling NDA- government in the monsoon session of the parliament. Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan had accepted the motion over the issue of the special status grant to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
