Patna, November 7: The grand alliance of the RJD, Congress and Left parties will form the government in Bihar with nearly 44 percent of vote share, according to the exit poll results released by Today's Chanakya on CNN News18. Of the 243 seats in Bihar, the Mahagatbandhan or grand alliance could win 180 seats, predicted the exit polls by Today's Chanakya. The NDA is likely to bag just 55 seats with 34 percent vote share, says the exit poll. Bihar went to polls in three phases – for 71 seats on October 28, for 94 seats on November 3, and remaining 78 on November 7. The results will be declared on November 10. The state saw an electoral battle of alliances. Today's Chanakya Predicts Clear Victory For Grand Alliance in Bihar Assembly Elections:

Of the 243 seats in Bihar, the BJP contested 121 and its ally JD(U) was allotted 122 seats. The Nitish Kumar-led party accommodated Jitan Ram Manjhi's Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) in its quota, and the BJP gave a share from its quota to the Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP). As per the seat-sharing agreement of grand alliance, the RJD contested 121 seats, Congress 70 and Left parties have been allotted 29 seats.
