Bihar, November 7: With the Bihar Assembly Elections 2020 ending today, all eyes are set on the outcome of the high-stake election. While the results are scheduled to be out on November 10, the exit poll predictions -- giving an insight on who is likely to emerge as the winner in the electoral battle -- were released today. News channel ABP News, in tie-up with research agency C Voter, predicted that there will be a neck to neck fight between NDA and RJD-Led Mahagathbandhan. The exit poll predicted a majority for MGB with 108-131 seats.
Nitish Kumar is predicted to win 104-128 seats, Lalu Prasad + is estimated to get 108-131 seats, Chirag Paswan, on the other hand, will get 1-3 seats and Others will manage 4-8 seats, as per the ABP-C Voter exit poll. Congress is most likely to win 21-29 seats. Left parties will get somewhere around 6-13 seats, according to the poll prediction. According to the Election Commission, till 5 pm on Saturday, there was 54.06 percent voter turnout in the third phase of Bihar polls. This could lead to the highest of all the three phases. Ahead of the Bihar Assembly election, the final opinion poll released by ABP had predicted that NDA is set to return to power in Bihar. JDU+ projected to win seats between 135-159. RJD+ likely to get 77-98. LJP was predicted to get 1-5 seats, while Others to get 4-8.
The NDA alliance has already announced its CM candidate in Nitish Kumar. As for Mahagathbandhan, it is speculated that Tejashwi Yadav will be leading the alliance if they win. With Chirag Paswan deciding to contest alone.
