The exit poll results for Assembly Elections 2018 in five states - Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Mizoram - are out.
Mumbai, December 7: The exit poll results for Assembly Elections 2018 in five states - Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Mizoram - are out and the countdown to the Assembly Election Results on December 11 has begun. While most exit polls predicted that the Congress could win Rajasthan, the surveys were not uniform on Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. In these two states, most exit polls have predicted a slight upper hand for the Congress, but some have also given a clear mandate to the BJP. In Telangana, too, exit polls predicted that the TRS would retain power. A fractured mandate has been predicted in Mizoram.
Voting for all five states concluded on December 7 at 5 pm. The first state to go to polls was Chhattisgarh, where voting took place in two phases on November 12 and November 20. In Madhya Pradesh and Mizoram, polling took place on November 28. In Rajasthan and Telangana, voting took place on December 7.

According to the News24 - Pace Media exit poll, the Congress may win 45-51 seats while the BJP may be second with 36-42 seats. As per the Times Now - CNX exit poll, the BJP could just cross the half-way mark with 46 seats while the Congress would be second with 35 seats. However, the India Today - Axis exit poll has predicted a clean sweep for the Congress in Chhattisgarh with the party likely to win 55-65 seats out of 90. The BJP, it says, could win 21-31 seats here.
The News24 - Today's Chanakya Exit Poll has predicted a clear victory for the Congress with the party seen winning 50 seats while the BJP is seen winning 36 seats.

Madhya Pradesh Exit Poll Results 2018
As per the India Today - Axis Exit Poll, there could be a hung Assembly in Madhya Pradesh with the Congress getting 104-122 seats while the BJP may end up with 102-120 seats. On the other hand, Times Now-CNX exit poll, the BJP is likely to win with about 126 seats while the Congress could end up second with 89 seats. The ABP-CSDS exit poll, meanwhile, said that the Congress could dethrone the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government by winning 126 seats while the BJP could end up second with 94 seats in the 230-seat MP Assembly.
The News24 - Today's Chanakya Exit Poll has predicted a victory for the Congress in MP with the party expected to win 125 seats, while the BJP may be second with 105 seats.

According to the Times Now-CNX exit poll, the Congress is likely to win Rajasthan with 105 seats while the BJP could be second with 85 seats, indicating the exit of Vasundhara Raje as the Chief Minister. The India Today - Axis exit poll also predicted a Congress victory with the party seen winning 119-141 seats while the BJP could get 55-72 seats.
