New Delhi, October 25: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAM) has been  provided with major relief by the Election Commission (EC) of India  on Thursday, October 25, after the EC withdrew the office of profit case against the 27 party MLAs in the Rogi Kalyan Samiti Case. Earlier in the day, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and 12 other AAP MLAs got bail in Delhi Secretary Anshu Prakash alleged assault case.

According to media reports, after the Election Commission issued a clean chit to the 27 AAP MLAs, President of India Ram Nath Kovind has issued his approval to the court decision as well. 20 AAP MLAs Get Relief From Delhi High Court in Connection to The Office of Profit Case.

The whole office of profit case pertains to the Rogi Kalyan Samiti NGO. In a complaint filed by one Vidyarthi Vibhor Anand, it was alleged that AAP MLAs were made the presidents or were holding the highest positions in the Rogi Kalyan Samiti.

It was demanded in the complaint that the AAP MLAs be removed from the top most positions of the NGO. The complainant also said that the MLAs be disqualified from the assembly.

The court provided major relief to the MLAs in the office of profit case on Thursday. Earlier, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and 12 other AAP MLAs in the Anshu Prakash alleged assault case. On February 20, the Chief Secretary alleged that he was assaulted by two AAP MLAs in the presence of CM Kejriwal at the Chief Minister's residence.
