While the counting of votes for DUSU election result is underway, the NSUI has won 75 seats in 20 colleges, whereas the ABVP has bagged 71 seats in 19 colleges. ABVP won in Hindu College, Shri Ram College of Commerce, Kirori Mal College, Bhagat Singh (Morning), Zakir Hussain (Morning), Dyal Singh (morning) colleges, aong others.
The NSUI won in Sri Venkateswara College, Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, Aryabhatta College, Zakir Hussain College, among others.

The DUSU election result will decide the fate of 23 candidates who contested for the posts of president, vice president, secretary and joint secretary. In the fray are the National Students' Union of India (NSUI), the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), and the Aam Aadmi Party's students' wing Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti (CYSS), which contested with left-wing students' outfit All India Students Association (AISA).
Candidates for DUSU presidents' post:
NSUI has nominated 21-year-old Sunny Chillar.
ABVP has fielded Ankiv Baisoya, 23.
Abhigyan, 18, is the candidate of AISA-CYSS alliance.
Candidates for DUSU vice-presidents' post:
23-year-old Leena fielded by NSUI.
Shakti Singh, 23, is the ABVP nominee.
CSYY-AISA has fielded 17-year-old Anshika.
In the polls held last year, the Congress-backed NSUI had emerged victorious, winning the presidents' and vice-presidents' post. The ABVP had bagged the secretary's post. The president-elect last year was NSUI leader Rocky Tuseed, whereas, the vice president-elect was Kunal Sehrawat. Secretary's post was won by ABVP's Mahamedha Nagar.
