Chandigarh, July 5: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Thursday has said that he does not have any problem in taking a dope test. The remark from the chief minister has come after Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal took a jibe at the Punjab Government for its decision to make dope test mandatory for all the government employees.
Harsimrat is a wife of Former Deputy Chief Minister and Akali Dal leader Sukhbir Singh Badal. The Union Minister said, “All those leaders including those who called 70% Punjabis 'Nashedis' should undergo the dope test first.” When the Akali government was in power, the opposition parties had also levelled charges of involvement in drug trade against it. The Congress during its election campaign had promised to end the drugs menace in the state.
