New Delhi, October 3: Divya Spandana aka Ramya, who heads the Social Media and Digital Communications wing of the Congress, cleared the air on his reported resignation or sacking from the post. Divya Spandana called reports of her termination from the Congress IT cell 'silly', adding that she loves her job and has not resigned.

On Wednesday, reports emerged suggesting that Ramya has either resigned as the in-charge of the Congress IT cell or been sacked from her post. This came after she deleted her bio from Twitter describing herself as the social media in-charge of Congress. Her absence from Twitter in the last few days fueled the speculations. Divya Spandana Ramya, Congress IT Cell Chief, Booked for Sedition After Her 'Chor' Tweet Against PM Modi.

However, speaking to a leading daily, the 36-year-old actress-turned-politician refuted these reports. In her Twitter bio, she has mentioned that she handles social media and digital communications for the Congress party. "And I love it," she added. Ramya, who is credited with energising the social media engagements of the Congress, has been lately embroiled into controversies.

Recently, Ramya was booked by the Uttar Pradesh police for calling Prime Minister Narendra Modi chor (thief). Sedition charges have been slapped against her in connection with the case. Earlier, she was dragged into a sexual harassment case within her team, where she has been accused of turning a blind eye to the complaint about the misconduct.
