Results for the Dindigul Lok Sabha Constituency in Tamil Nadu has been declared by the Election Commission of India (ECI). P Velusamy of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) has won the seat. The counting of votes for the Dindigul Lok Sabha Constituency began at 8 AM on Thursday, May 23. This is one of the 39 Parliamentary constituencies in Tamil Nadu which went to poll in the second phase on April 18. This constituency formed in 1952 and has a total of 1,085,696 voters.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha Polls, PMK's K Jyothi will seek votes from this parliamentary constituency. Meanwhile, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) has given its ticket to P. Veluchamy from Dindigul seat. All the 39 constituency seats in Tamil Nadu will got to vote on April 18. The last day of filing nomination for the polls in March 26 while the last day of withdrawal of candidature is March 29.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha Polls, Udhaya Kumar of the Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) party had won the Dindigul seat by defeating DMK candidate Gandhirajan S. Udhaya Kumar had won the Dindigul seat by 510,462 votes.
