Kolkata, July 29: To counter Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wave in the state, West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee has launched a helpline number 9137091370 and a website didikebolo.com. Through these contact platforms, people can reach to the state government to share their complaints and views under the massive outreach programme "Didi Ke Bolo (Tell Didi)". This development comes ahead of 2021 Assembly elections in the state.
"People can directly get in touch with us on the helpline number and the website and speak about issues affecting them. We will try and address them. Over the next 100 days, more than 1,000 party leaders and workers will reach out to 10,000 villages in the state, spend days there with local people and try and address their grievances," Banerjee said after meeting TMC MLAs.
