The General Elections 2014 was won by Maulana Badruddin Ajmal, member of AUDF who secured whopping 5,92,569 votes. The runner up that year was Wazed Ali Choudhury, member of Indian National Congress. He could achieve 3,62,839 votes. The current sitting member of parliament of the Dhubri constituency is Maulana Badruddin Ajmal, AUDF.
Lok Sabha Elections 2019 is scheduled to take place from April 11 to May 23, 2019, across 29 states of the nation.
