Mumbai, November 29: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Devendra Fadnavis on Friday, November 29, said that Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray's decision to stop Aarey Metro car shed shows that state government is not serious about the infrastructures projects in Mumbai. "It’s unfortunate that State Government stayed Aarey Metro CarShed work in spite of Hon Supreme Court & Hon High Court orders. This shows State Government is not serious about Mumbai Infrastructure projects! And ultimate sufferer is common Mumbaikar only," Fadnavis tweeted.

Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray on Friday announced a stay on the construction of a Metro car shed project in Mumbai's Aarey Colony. "I have ordered to stop the work of Aarey metro car shed project today. Metro work will not stop but till next decision, not a single leaf of Aarey will be cut," he said.
