Results for the Cuddalore Lok Sabha Constituency in Tamil Nadu has been declared by the Election Commission of India (ECI). TRVS Ramesh of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) has won the seat. The counting of votes for the Cuddalore Lok Sabha Constituency began at 8 AM on Thursday, May 23. This is one of the 39 Parliamentary constituencies in Tamil Nadu which went to poll on April 18. Before 2009, Cuddalore Lok Sabha constituency was composed of the assembly segments which included Ulundurpet (SC), Nellikkuppam, Cuddalore, Panruti, Rishivandinam and Sankarapuram.
After 2009, this Lok Sabha constituency is composed of the Tittakudi (SC), Vridhachalam, Neyveli, Cuddalore, Panruti, Kurinjipadi. The constituency number of Cuddalore is 26 and is not reserved for any category, which means this constituency falls into the General Category. According to ECI, the Cuddalore Lok Sabha Constituency has 986,030 voters out of which 499,748 are males and 486,282 are females. It comprises of six Vidhan Sabha segments of which one is for the SC category and the constituency has a total of 986,030 voters.

In Tamil Nadu, all the 39 constituency seats in the state will got to poll on April 18. The last day of filing nomination for the polls in March 26 while the last day of withdrawal of candidature is March 29. The counting of votes will be done on May 23.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha Polls, A. Arunmozhithevan of the Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) party had won the Cuddalore seat.
