New Delhi, October 1: The Central government has launched bathing soap made of cowdung and drinking water bottle made of bamboo on Tuesday. The products were launched by Central Union Minister Nitin Gadkari at an event organised by Khadi and Gramudhyog Aayog of the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises. The officials of the ministry and Minister Nitin Gadkari lauded the effort and said that the move will encourage organic farming. "Launched eco-friendly bamboo bottles among other products at the Khadi Centre. We are emphasising on creation of maximum business opportunities for the #MSME so that the livelihood generation and their contribution to the economy increases substantially," tweeted Gadkari. The cost of the bathing soap for a 125 gram unit is Rs 125. The cost of the bamboo drinking bottle is Rs 560.
