Amaravati, April 8: The elections in Cheepurupalli, Chilakaluripet, Chintalapudi, Chirala and Chittoor assembly constituency of Andhra Pradesh will be held on April 11. The results of the Andhra Pradesh Vidhan Sabha elections will be declared on May 23. Stakes are high for the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) which won Cheepurupalli, Chilakaluripet, Chintalapudi and Chittoor assembly seats in the 2014 polls. The process of filing nomination for Cheepurupalli, Chilakaluripet, Chintalapudi, Chirala and Chittoor constituencies began from March 18 and the last day was March 25. Scrutiny was done on March 26 and the last date for the withdrawal of the nominations was March 28.
