The Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha constituency is one of the most important seats in the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi. Voting for the General Elections 2019 on this seat of Delhi will take place in the sixth phase on May 12.
Lok Sabha Elections 2019: The results of polls in the Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha Constituency were declared on Thursday. The counting of votes began on the Parliamentary seat in the NCT of Delhi at 8 am on Thursday, May 23. Dr Harsh Vardhan of the BJP won the seat. Voting took place for the Chandni Chowk seat in the sixth phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2019 on May 12.
Candidates on the Chandni Chowk seat include Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) Pankaj Gupta, Jai Prakash Agarwal of the Congress and Dr Harsh Vardhan of the BJP among others. The last date of nomination in Phase 6 was April 23. The last date for withdrawal of candidature was April 26. Polling for the sixth phase will be held on May 12. The current MP from Chandni Chowk is Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dr Harsh Vardhan. Dr Harsh Vardhan won the Lok Sabha Elections 2014 from this seat, defeating AAP candidate Ashutosh and Congress two-time MP Kapil Sibal.
Lok Sabha Elections 2019 will be held in the country from April 11 to May 23. While voting will take place for the 543 Lok Sabha constituencies between April 11 and May 19, the poll results will be declared on May 23.
