Jaipur, November 12: The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) on Monday released the third list of 61 candidates for the upcoming assembly elections in Rajasthan. The polling in the state will take place on December 7, while counting of votes will be held on December 11. Voting will be held in a single phase across the 200 seats of Rajasthan.

On Friday, Mayawati-led BSP had released the second list of six candidates contesting in the upcoming Rajasthan Assembly Election 2018. Party president Sitaram Meghwal released the list on directions of BSP chief Mayawati. These candidates are contesting from Dholpur, Bari, Ramgarh, Mahua, Bayana, and Jhalrapatan assembly constituencies. According to the list,  Pandit Kishan Chand Sharma has been chosen to contest from the Dholpur seat, Ramhet Kushwaha has been fielded from Bari constituency.

On October 31, the party had released a list of 11 candidates contesting in Rajasthan assembly polls. These candidates were announced from constituencies majorly in eastern Rajasthan and districts. Earlier, party supremo Mayawati has announced to contest without entering into an alliance with any political party. Reports informed that of the 11 candidates named in the first list, seven candidates will be contesting assembly elections for the first time.
