BJP Vs Congress in 2019, Who Will gain Voters: ABP News-CSDS ‘Mood of The Nation’ Survey

According to the ‘Mood of the Nation Survey’, The NDA would be getting 274 seats, the UPA would get 164 seats, whereas ‘Others’ would bag 105 seats.

New Delhi, May 24: The ‘Mood of the Nation’ survey conducted by ABP News and CSDS revealed the thinking of the people about 2019 general elections. In Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party would have a combined vote share of 53 percent, the survey revealed. National Democratic Alliance (NDA) would get 35 percent whereas United Progressive Alliance (UPA) is likely to 12 percent vote share.

In central and western India survey revealed that BJP lead alliance would get 70-78 seats out of 114 seats, whereas the Congress lead alliance would be victorious on 41-47 seats. In 2014 The NDA would lose around 30-35 seats as compared to 2014 elections.

According to the survey, In Gujarat and Maharashtra also there would be decrease in the BJP’s votes share as compared to 2014 general elections. The party would lose 4 percent vote share whereas the Congress would gain 9 percent vote share. If Maharashtra elections are to be held today then the NDA would enjoy 48 percent of the vote share. The vote share of the Congress would increase to 40 percent.

In Bengal the UPA would end up with a vote share of 11 per cent. In 2014 general elections the TMC got 73 per cent of the vote share, while the NDA and UPA got 17 and 10 per cent respectively. According to the survey, the alliance with the JD(U)would benefit the BJP as its vote share would increase. If we talk about the entire eastern India, If Lok Sabha elections are held today, the NDA would get 86-94 out of 142 seats; UPA 22-26 and others 26-30, the survey suggests.

The Congress is likely to come to power in Rajasthan. According to a survey conducted by ABP News and CSDS, The Congress is making substantial gains in Rajasthan as the BJP is lagging behind the grand old party by 5 percent vote share. The Congress would have a vote share of 44 percent. The Congress is ahead of the BJP in Madhya Pradesh by a comfortable margin in both the Lok Sabha, says the survey. The Shivraj government would also lose power in the coming assembly elections.

If we talk about the combined figures, according to the ‘Mood of the Nation Survey’, The NDA would be getting 274 seats, the UPA would get 164 seats, whereas ‘Others’ would bag 105 seats.
