BJP Posters Blackened in Bhopal Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Party Chief Amit Shah's Rally in Madhya Pradesh

Ahead of the mega BJP rally in Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal on Tuesday, posters of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah were blackened late on Monday night, said media reports. The rally, which will reportedly be attended by about 10 lakh BJP workers, will mark the BJP's campaign for the upcoming assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh due this year. Along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and other important BJP leaders from state and Centre will also attend the rally. News channel Times Now reported that late on Monday night, BJP posters which have been put up in Bhopal for the rally, were blackened. Check the video below:

The report also said that when the incident came to the notice of BJP workers and supporters, the posters were removed immediately. The police is also on a lookout for the miscreants and is investigating the matter.

The rally is being organised on the occasion of 102 birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, who was the founder of the Jan Sangh, which in the year 1980 was rechristened as the Bhartiya Janata Party in the year 1980. The rally is named as Karyakarta Mahakumbh and will be held at Jambhuri maidan (ground) at Atal Mahakumbh Parisar.
