New Delhi, March 31: As part of its campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched NaMo TV channel on various DTH platforms. The BJP, in a tweet, said NaMo TV channel will be available on Tata Sky, Airtel TV, Videocon D2H and Dish TV. The 24x7 television channel will broadcast "real-time coverage of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's election campaign and a lot more fascinating content".
"Capture the colours of elections...Watch the dance of democracy...Say NaMo again with NaMo TV," said the BJP in a tweet. The NaMo TV channel will live broadcast PM Modi's election rallies, shows on PM Modi's policies and past speech in Parliament. The broadcasts of PM Modi’s interaction with BJP workers is also a regular feature. One can tune in to NaMo TV channel on Tata Sky (512), Airtel TV (110), Videocon D2H (102) and Dish TV (111) to watch live telecast of PM Modi's speech. Earlier, the BJP conducted test runs of NaMo TV channel on a couple of DTH platforms. The channel logo features the Prime Minister's picture. Even as the channel has made way on national television this year, it has been there in Gujarat since as early as 2012. Reports also say that the NaMo channel will be aired on some DTH platforms as the 'Content TV'. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also tweeted about the channel.

Notably, the Model Code of Conducts bars public service broadcasters to telecast all events being attended or addressed by those who are contesting polls.
