"We know your party loves Pakistan & your members sing its praises. Rahul Gandhi should apologise to every south Indian & make Navjot Singh Sidhu apologise too. Sidhu should be sacked: GVL Narasimha Rao, BJP on Navjot Singh Sidhu's statement, reported ANI.

Sidhu made this controversial statement while speaking on the first day of Kasauli Literature Festival and said, "When I go to the South Indian States, I could hardly understand anything they were speaking, except some words. The food there is okay, I can have idli but cannot have South Indian foods for a long. But if I go to Pakistan, everything is same they also speak Punjabi and I can relate more to them."

On speaking about hugging Pakistan Army Chief Qamar Bajwa, the Congress leader said it was an unprompted reaction when Bajwa told me that Pakistan will open gates for Indian Sikhs to visit Kartarpur Sahib Gurdwara in Pakistan.
