The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday released the third list of seven candidates for Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2019. The BJP has given ticket to Rahul Narvekar from Colaba. Narvekar, recently left the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and joined the BJP.

The saffron party has fielded Rohini Khadse from Mukhtainagar, Charan Singh Thakur from Katol, Sunil Rane from Borivali, Rahul Dhikale from Nashik East and Paeah Shah from Ghatkopar East. So far, the saffron party has announced the names of 146 candidates. In the first list, the BJP announced 125 names, while in the second list, the ruling party announced 14 names. Incumbent Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is contesting from Nagpur South-West, while Pankaja Munde is nominated from Parli assembly constituency. Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil who quit Congress and joined the BJP recently will contest from Shirdi.
Third List of BJP:
The BJP is contesting the upcoming assembly polls in an alliance with Shi Sena. However, the seat-sharing deal between both the parties has not concluded yet. According to reports, the BJP will contest on 164 seats, while Uddhav Thackeray-led party will fight elections on 124 seats. The BJP will reportedly give tickets to smaller alliance partners including Republican Party of India-A, the Rashtriya Samaj Paksha and the Shiv Sangram Party from its Quota. The Shiv Sena has till now announced its candidates on only 70 seats.
The deadline to file nomination papers will end today. The assembly elections in Maharashtra will take place on October 21 along with Haryana. The votes will be counted on October 24.
