New Delhi, March 23: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday night announced the second and the third lists of 37 candidates for the Lok Sabha elections 2019. The second list contains only one candidate from Daman and Diu while the third list has 36 names. The party has given a ticket to its spokesperson Sambit Patra for Puri Lok Sabha constituency in Odisha. BJP 1st List of Candidates For Lok Sabha Elections 2019 Out: Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh Among 184 Candidates Named.

BJP's List of candidates for Lok Sabha Elections: 

The third list contains 23 nominees for Andhra Pradesh where polling will be held in the first phase on April 11. It also contained names of six candidates for Maharashtra and five for Odisha. The lists were announced after meeting of the BJP central election committee which was presided over by party president Amit Shah. The party also released its list of candidates for 22 assembly seats in Odisha, which will vote on April 11. Among the 22 assembly seats declared by the party, Shisir Gamang, son of former Chief Minister Giridhar Gamang, will be contesting from Gunpur assembly constituency.

The saffron party on Thursday released its first list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2019. The party has named 182 candidates, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Varanasi and BJP president Amit Shah from Gandhinagar. Meanwhile, Union Ministers Rajnath Singh and Nitin Gadkari have been fielded again from Lucknow and Nagpur, respectively.

The Lok Sabha elections will take place in seven phases from April 11 to May 19. The results will be declared on May 23.
