Nawada, January 16: In a shocking incident, the beds for patients in the government hospital in Nawada district of Bihar became the hotspot for stray dogs on Wednesday. The stray dogs occupied the beds of the hospital and were caught on camera.

The incident shows the lackadaisical behaviour of the medical department of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar-led state government, which in the previous incidence too, have depicted a similar approach. Till now no official comment from any state minister has come to the fore. However, the hospital in charge Civil Surgeon Umesh Chandra said, “We will ascertain how this happened and who's responsible for it.” Uttar Pradesh Shocker: Teenager Posts Girl’s Image in Tik-Tok Video, Gets Thrashed in Public After Panchayat Order (Watch Video).

Earlier in a similar incident in 2018, the hospital in Nalanda district was waterlogged, and patients were seen sitting on the cot, waiting for help. Though the incident took place due to heavy showers for consecutive two days, patients in the ICU and general wards suffered for days. Incidentally, small fish and insects visible in the rainwater created an unusual sight for the attendants of patients and nurses in the ICU.

With continuous lethargical approach becoming the order of the day, it won’t be surprising if patients arriving for treatments in hospital in Bihar become ill and die. Perhaps, then the state administration might wake up from their hibernation.
