Mumbai, May 18: The Supreme Court, earlier today, ordered the newly appointed Chief Minister of Karnataka, BS Yeddyurappa, to go for a floor test by tomorrow, May 19, at 4 pm. The Apex Court has asked to prove them their majority after Congress raised a stink over the legality of BJP's claim to form a government. Therefore, all senior leaders, of three political parties in contention, are gearing up for the big day!

According to the reports, former CM Siddaramaiah and HD Kumaraswamy had travelled to Hyderabad to meet their party leaders who are being shielded from BJP's offers-and-bribe tactics to seek support, as alleged. The BJP, on the other hand, is said to hold a meeting with their legislators, at 9 pm today, to discuss the game plan for tomorrow's action-pack-day.

Around 77 MLAs of the Congress party are in Hyderabad, besides Anand Singh, the MLA who has received threats from the Centre (Modi government) for his involvement in corruption charges, will have to face Enforcement Directorate (ED) inquiry once again, if he did not side with the BJP, the Congress party had alleged today.

JD(S) Chief HD Kumaraswamy has expressed confidence that his party MLAs are intact and are not being driven by any greed shown by the BJP. In addition to it, both, Congress & JD(S) has said that they are ready for the floor test and are confident enough that their MLAs won't ditch them.

However, Congress leaders, in a shocking revelation, have alleged that Janaradhana Reddy brothers were offering a bribe to their MLAs while poaching in their camp. The party has also released an audio clip about the same.

Karnataka Governor, Vajubhai Vala, had appointed a junior BJP MLA, KG Bopaiah, as the 'pro tem Speaker' over Congress' RV Deshpande to oversee the proceedings of the floor test tomorrow. Over the appointment row, the Karnataka Governor drew a lot of flak, as he was called as a 'BJP agent' by Congress leaders.

As the following events took place on Thursday, Governor Vajubhai Vala has called for a special Assembly session at 11 am on May 19. The following session is being called in order to hold the oath-taking ceremony wherein the BJP legislators would first take an oath in the Assembly, before tabling the confidence motion to prove their majority in the otherwise hung Assembly mandate in Karnataka.
