Bhim Army Chief Chandrashekhar Azad Released From Tihar Jail, to Visit ‘Jama Masid, Ravidas Temple, Gurudwara and Church' in Delhi on Friday
Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar Azad was released from Delhi's Tihar Jail on Thursday. The Tiz Hazri Court had granted him bail while putting certain conditions, including barring his entry to the national capital or holding any "dharna" in Delhi till the elections are on. Soon after his release, Azad said that he will visit New Delhi's Jama Masjid on Friday.
New Delhi, January 16: Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar Azad was released from Delhi's Tihar Jail on Thursday. The Tiz Hazri Court had granted him bail while putting certain conditions, including barring his entry to the national capital after 24 hours of his release or holding any "dharna" in Delhi till the elections are on. Soon after his release, Azad said that he will visit New Delhi's Jama Masjid, Ravidas Temple, a gurudwara and a church on Friday. "Tomorrow I will visit Jama Masjid at 1 pm. Later, I will also visit Ravidas temple, a gurudwara and a church," Azad said, adding, "our protest will go on till the government takes back the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). I'm against the people who want to divide the country."

The Delhi court had directed the police to escort Azad to his permanent address in Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur within 24 hours of his released. The court also mentioned that before going to Saharanpur if the Bhim Army chief wants to go anywhere in Delhi till 24 hours of his release, cops will escort him there.
Azad was arrested by police after protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act at Jama Masjid on December 20. Azad's outfit had called for a demonstration from Jama Masjid to Jantar Mantar against the law without police permission.
