In Bhainsdehi (ST), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fielded Mahendra Singh Chouhan against Congress candidate Dhamu Singh Sirsam. In 2013, Chouhan had won the seat with 77918 votes.
In Timarni (ST), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fielded Sanjay Shah against Congress candidate Abhijeet Shah (Ankit Baba). In 2013 polls, BJP's Sanjay Shah Makdai had won the seat with 62502 votes.
In Harda, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fielded Kamal Patel this year against Congress candidate R. K. Dogne. In 2013, Dogne had won the Harda seat with 74607 votes.
In Seoni-Malwa, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has this year fielded Prem Shankar Verma against Congress candidate Om Prakash Raghuvanshi. In 2013 polls, BJP candidate Sartaaj Singh had won the seat with 78374 votes.
In Hoshangabad, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has this year fielded Sitasharan Sharma against Congress candidate Sartaj Singh. Dr. Sita Sharan Sharma of the BJP had won the Hoshangabad seat in 2013 polls with 91760 votes.
In Sohagpur, Vijaypal Singh has been pitted as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate this year. Singh will be contesting against Congress candidate Satpal Paltya. In 2013 polls, BJP's Vijaypal Singh Rajput had won the Sohagpur seat with 92859 seats.
In Madhya Pradesh, there is a close battle between the Congress and the ruling BJP. While Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is looking at a fourth term in the state, it remains to be seen who emerges as the CM candidate for the Congress - Kamal Nath or Jyotiraditya Scindia.
