The Ballabhgarh Vidhan Sabha constituency falls in the Faridabad district and Parliamentary constituency of Haryana. Mool Chand Sharma of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won the Ballabhgarh seat in Haryana Assembly Elections 2019. The results were announced on Thursday. Sharma defeated Anand Kaushik of the Congress by more than 41,000 votes. Ballabhgarh is also one of the industrial towns in Faridabad. Ballabhgarh derives its name from Balramgarh, 'the fort of Balram'. Voting in Ballabhgarh for Haryana Assembly Elections 2019 took place on October 21. The counting of votes took place on October 24.

Mool Chand Sharma of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had also won the Ballabhgarh seat in Haryana Assembly Elections 2014, defeating Lakhan Kumar Singla of the Congress. Other candidates on this seat for 2019 polls were Rohtash of the INLD and Hariender Kumar of the AAP among others. Haryana Assembly Elections 2019 Dates & Schedule: Polls to be Held on October 21, Results on October 24, Says ECI.

The ECI used close to 1.3 lakh Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) for Haryana elections 2019. These elections came days after the BJP received a massive victory in Lok Sabha Elections 2019.

Meanwhile, Vidhan Sabha elections were also simultaneously held in Maharashtra. Voting for Haryana and Maharashtra Assembly polls 2019 took place on October 21. The results for polls in both states were announced on October 24.
