Daultabad defeated Manish Yadav of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) by over 10,000 votes. A commercial area, Badshahpur is located on the Gurugram-Sohna Road-Alwar road. Voting in Badshahpur for Haryana Assembly Elections 2019 took place on October 21.
Narbir Singh of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had won the 2014 Haryana Assembly Elections from Badshahpur, defeating the then INLD leader Rakesh Daultabad. For 2019 polls, the BJP had fielded Manish Yadav. The other candidates contesting Assembly polls on the Badshahpur seat included Kamalbir Singh of the Congress and Sonu Thakran of the INLD.
