Kolkata, January 19: BJP leader and Union minister Babul Supriyo, while speaking to news channel CNN News 18 on the TMC's United India Rally involving many Opposition leaders, said that he has eaten beef and eats it whenever he goes out of India. However, the union leader then proceeded to say that eating beef in Hindu dominated localities, which he claims happen in Bengal, is wrong. The union minister questioned the Opposition unity on display at the Brigade Parade Grounds. Supriyo started by saying that in a democracy, the Opposition has the right to come together but said that the intention of the Opposition is not right, in this rally. Talking about the rally, political leaders and Opposition leaders of 22 political parties have come to show support for TMC's United India rally. Mamata Banerjee is orchestrating the rally, and various leaders are speaking by turn. Akhilesh Yadav, MK Stalin, HD Kumaraswamy, Arvind Kejriwal, Sharad Pawar RLD leader Jayant Chaudhary, Yashwant Sinha, Farooq Abdullah, Hardik Patel, Jignesh Mewani, Tejashwi Yadav, Chandrababu Naidu and many others are present at the event.
