Results of the parliamentary constituency of Aurangabad has been declared. Sushil Kumar Singh of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been named the winner. The seat went to polls in the first phase of Lok Sabha elections 2019, on April 11. A voter turnout of 53.51 per cent was recorded by the Election Commission. The notification for the elections in Aurangabad, along with 90 other seats which would go to polls in the first phase, was released by the Election Commission on March 18. The last day of filing nominations was March 25. The Mahagathbandhan has fielded HAM(S) leader Upendra Prasad from the seat, whereas, the NDA candidate is Sushil Kumar Singh of the BJP.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the seat was retained by the current MP Sushil Kumar Singh, a former JD(U) leader who had switched to the BJP days before the polls.
