Assembly Elections Results 2018: Narendra Modi Congratulates Congress, KCR, MNF on Victories, Says 'Accept People's Mandate With Humility'
With just an hour left for the official announcement of Assembly elections in five states, PM Modi congratulates the opposition party.
New Delhi, December 11: With the trends of all the poll-bound states are out, and the results of Mizoram declared, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the party workers for their victory in respective states. Through his message he congratulated Congress, KCR and MNF for their victories in states and applauded hard work of BJP party workers.
Taking to Twitter, the Premier stated that his party accepts people’s mandate with humility in the state of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, where Congress is leading from the front. He took to Twitter and wrote, “We accept the people’s mandate with humility. I thank the people of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan for giving us the opportunity to serve these states. Congratulating the Congress party for their victories in respective states, TRS’s KCR in Telangana and Mizo National Front (MNF) in Mizoram, PM Modi wrote, “Congratulations to the Congress for their victories. Congratulations to KCR Garu for the thumping win in Telangana and to the Mizo National Front (MNF) for their impressive victory in Mizoram.”
Thanking the BJP workers for their hard work, he wrote, “The family of BJP Karyakartas worked day and night for the state elections. I salute them for their hard work. Victory and defeat are an integral part of life. Today’s results will further our resolve to serve people and work even harder for the development of India.”
As the final results for four states – Rajasthan, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh – are yet to be declared by the elections commission, celebrations have not started in full swing. Congress workers are waiting for the final results, which is likely to be declared in an hour.
